Everything you need to turn feedback into fixes

DevEye isn't a screenshot tool. It understands the page - so your notes come with the context an AI agent actually needs.

Click-to-annotate

Click any element on any page - buttons, headings, images, whole sections - and attach a note directly to it.

Multi-select & drag-select

Select several elements at once, or drag a box across a region - perfect for layout and section-level feedback.

Freeze animations

Pause carousels, transitions, and video so you can annotate a moving target without it shifting under your cursor.

Structured Markdown output

Every note is paired with the element's DOM path, CSS classes, computed styles, and surrounding context - four detail levels to choose from.

Copy as Markdown or plain text

One click copies your notes formatted for an AI agent - or as clean plain text for tickets, chats, and emails.

Made to feel native

Dark & light themes, adjustable accent colors, and a draggable toolbar that remembers where you left it.

From "this looks off" to a fix - in three steps

01

Click what's wrong

Open the toolbar, click the element you want to flag, and type what should change.

02

DevEye builds the context

It captures the element's location, classes, styles, and nearby content - everything an agent needs to find the right code.

03

Paste into your AI agent

Copy the generated Markdown and hand it to Claude, Cursor, or any coding agent - no more guesswork on either side.

Frequently asked questions

Does DevEye send my data anywhere?
No. Every note and setting is stored locally in your browser via chrome.storage.local. DevEye has no servers, does no analytics, and never transmits page content or annotations anywhere. See the privacy policy for details.
Which AI coding agents does it work with?
Any of them. DevEye just generates plain Markdown (or plain text) - paste it into Claude, Cursor, Copilot, Windsurf, ChatGPT, or any tool that can read text and code.
Will it slow down the pages I visit?
No. DevEye stays dormant until you explicitly turn it on for a page - it doesn't run scripts, observe your browsing, or load anything in the background beyond a small weekly cleanup of old notes.
Do my notes stick around if I close the tab?
Yes - notes are saved per page and persist across reloads and browser restarts. They're automatically cleared after 7 days to keep things tidy, or you can clear them manually any time.
Is DevEye free?
Yes, completely free, with no account or sign-up required.
